2023 Pundericher Dornfelder Troken (Dry) - Red

Ortsweine Rot (red, mid quality) is a dry red wine from the Mosel region, showcasing the distinctive qualities of the Dornfelder grape. There is a deep purple hue with an intense fruit aroma such as sour cherry, blackberry and elderberry.  It has a dry palate with a full-bodied taste, balancing the acidity with the dark berries. This red wine is smooth with soft tannins and lingering fruit notes.

Food Pairing:

This wine pairs excellently with dark meats like venison or lamb, as well as with fondue.
